Privacy policy
Versione beta · ultimo aggiornamento: 17 ottobre 2026
Servono solo a correggere i problemi.
6.1.f GDPR).
- Statistiche d'uso anonime e notifiche: consenso (art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocabile in ogni momento.
- Errori tecnici: legittimo interesse a far funzionare l'app e correggerne i difetti (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Feedback e segnalazioni: consenso, dato inviandoli.
4. Fornitori (responsabili del trattamento)
- Supabase: database e accesso via email, server nell'Unione europea (Francoforte).
6. I tuoi diritti
Privacy policy
Beta version · last updated: 17 October 2026
In short: your budget data stays on your device. If you choose to create an account, a copy is stored on servers in the European Union only to sync your devices. No ads, no profiling, no selling of data.
1. Data controller
[Controller's full name] — contact: [contact email].
2. What data we process
- Data you enter in the app: transactions (date, description, amount, category), settings, rules, investments. Stored on your device (browser storage).
- Imported files (CSV bank statements): read on your device and never sent anywhere; only the transactions you confirm stay in the app.
- Account (optional): if you create an account we process your first name, last name, email address, your password (stored only in encrypted form, nobody can read it) and a copy of your app data, stored on Supabase servers in the European Union (Frankfurt).
- Profile (optional): your approximate monthly income, what you want to use the app for, the cards or accounts you use, whether and where you have invested. This is sensitive data: it stays in your personal data (on your device and, if you have an account, in your online copy), readable only by your account. Nobody else sees it, not even the people running Quadriamo: it does not appear in the admin area and is never shared or sold. Edit or delete it any time (Settings → Account → Your profile).
- Profile photo and country (optional): the photo you choose, reduced on your phone to 256×256 pixels, and your country of origin and residence. The photo is stored in a private space that only you can read, and the country with your data. Nobody else sees them, not even people you share a budget with.
- Anonymous research (only if you choose it): you can send a copy of your profile without name, email or account, with income only as a range (e.g. €1,500–2,000), linked only to a random code on your device. We only use totals of at least 5 forms, so nobody can be recognised. Withdraw it any time by unticking the box or deleting your profile.
- Technical data: to run the service, the providers below necessarily receive your IP address and technical browser data (security logs).
- Anonymous usage statistics (only with your consent): a random device identifier and, for each time you use the app, the screens you open and for how long, your path between screens, how often you use each feature (only its type, e.g. “adds a transaction”), any slowdowns and errors, whether the app is installed, language, version and device type. Never descriptions, amounts, categories or other budget data. Whoever runs Quadriamo only sees totals of at least 5 devices. Withdraw consent in Profile → Privacy and data → Anonymous usage statistics.
- Feedback: the rating and text you choose to send us, with language and app version (and your account, if you are signed in). On the website you can write anonymously or leave your email, which we only use to reply to you.
- Notifications (only if you turn them on): the technical delivery address provided by your browser, to send you the notifications you choose (what you can spend today, reminders, news, a request for feedback). What you can spend is calculated on your phone: the server never receives amounts. Manage them in Profile → Notifications or in your phone settings.
- Calendar reminders (only with an account and notifications on): to remind you in time, your phone sends the server the time of each reminder and the name of the event it refers to (for example “Rent” or, for documents, “ID card”). Never amounts: your phone adds them when it shows the notification. The server uses them only to deliver the notification. For documents the app keeps only the name, category and dates: no scans and no document numbers.
- Notification center: the notifications you receive stay only on your phone (the last 100), together with what you read, archived or marked as important. We don't send them to anyone.
- Technical errors: if the app breaks we receive the error message, the place in the code, the screen, the version, the device and system type and your last steps in the app (screens opened and types of action). Never amounts, text or budget data; any email addresses in the message are hidden. They are used only to fix problems.
- Reports (only if you send them): from Profile → Report a problem, the type (problem or idea), priority, description and, if you attach them, screenshots and videos (signed in only). Attachments may show the data on your screen: you choose what to send. If you leave diagnostics on, device, system, version, language, time zone and your last steps in the app are added; you can see them before sending. If you are signed in the report is linked to your account so we can reply. Attachments are kept in a private space that only whoever runs Quadriamo can see.
We use no profiling cookies or advertising. The app uses the browser's technical storage to work (data, language, sign-in session) and, only with your consent, for the random statistics identifier.
3. Why and on what legal basis
- Providing the app and, if you ask for it, sync between devices: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security of the service and abuse prevention: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Anonymous usage statistics and notifications: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Technical errors: legitimate interest in keeping the app working and fixing its defects (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Feedback and reports: consent, given by sending them.
- Optional profile and anonymous research: consent, given by filling it in or ticking the box; withdraw it by deleting or unticking.
4. Providers (processors)
- Supabase: database and email sign-in, servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). Stores accounts and synced data, feedback, reports and their attachments, technical errors, anonymous statistics notification subscriptions and calendar reminders.
- Browser push services (Apple, Google, Mozilla): deliver notifications, only if you turn them on.
- GitHub (Microsoft): hosts the app website (GitHub Pages) and receives technical browsing data, possibly in the United States, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
- Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev): provides European Central Bank exchange rates. It only receives the list of currencies and the technical request data, no budget data.
5. How long
- Data on your device: until you delete it (Profile → Erase data) or clear your browser data.
- Usage statistics: 180 days. Technical errors: 30 days.
- Reminders on the server: until they are sent, then deleted within 7 days; future ones are replaced every time you change the calendar and disappear if you delete your account.
- Feedback and reports: until the end of the beta, then at most 24 months. Report attachments are deleted after 90 days.
- Account and online copy: until you delete your account (Profile → Privacy and data → Delete account and data). Deletion immediately removes your email and online data; any technical backups of the provider are overwritten on the provider's schedule.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and object to processing. Much of this you can do directly in the app: export your data (JSON or CSV), edit it, delete it, delete your account. For anything else, write to the contact above. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
7. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). On the server each user can only read and change their own data (row-level access rules). You sign in with email and password (stored only in encrypted form) or with a link sent to your email. The app only runs code from its own site and only talks to the providers listed above.
8. Children
Quadriamo is not intended for children under 16.
9. Changes
Quadriamo is in beta: this policy may change. Important changes will be announced in the app.
